The Wrekin

The Wrekin
The floods have hopefully peaked on the River Severn through Shropshire, although a lot more rain is forecast.
The edge of the North Shropshire plain is underwater at Cressage, at least we have the Wrekin to retreat to.

I remember walking to the Wrekin from Wroxeter in order to watch the sun rise many years ago. Sadly the peak was in the clouds! K.
