Mountain view on an owl-less day
This was one of maybe a dozen photos I took yesterday, 12 March 2016, when I drove NW of the city. My hope was to see a Great Gray Owl, but this day, I was totally out of luck. DIdn't see anything else to photograph, except a very distant Shrike and those few photos were much too distant. So, I drove to the end of one of the roads and gazed towards the Rocky Mountains - zoomed in, so they look much closer than they actually were.
