Red-breasted Nuthatch
Happy Spring, everyone!! A wild bird photo, at long last, LOL! I've taken barely any bird photos the last six months - partly because numbers of birds and species are down, but also because I have had an unhealthily sedentary six months of winter. This little Red-breasted Nuthatch was down at Shannon Terrace, Fish Creek Park this morning, along with the usual Black-capped Chickadees and a Boreal Chickadee. When I'm out of practice for taking bird shots, I am reminded once again just how difficult bird photography is, LOL! This little female (grey cap and pale breast) and her mate (black cap and brighter red breast) moved SO fast, constantly : )

A very well-done macro photograph in a fantastic sharpness.
