Happy Easter weekend!
I've had this photo tucked away in one of my "Maybe post to Flickr" folders for a long time. When I looked in a couple of these folders yesterday, I was amazed at how many old photos I just never posted. A check of My Archives assured me that I had never posted this shot - so here it is, three years late : ) Makes a change from Owls, too, as I have quite a few of those to post in the upcoming days/weeks. Taken on 6 April 2010.
"Narcissus is a genus of mainly hardy, mostly spring-flowering, bulbous perennials in the Amaryllis family, subfamily Amaryllidoideae. Various common names including daffodil, narcissus, and jonquil are used to describe all or some of the genus. They are native to meadows and woods in Europe, North Africa and West Asia, with a center of distribution in the Western Mediterranean." From Wikipedia.

Apologies to all my local friends - I finally washed my absolutely filthy vehicle this afternoon. Without fail when I do this, it either rains or snows. Just checked the weather for the coming week and guess what, snow is in the forecast, lol.
