Glimpse of a distant Pheasant

I believe we saw three distant Ring-necked Pheasants when I was walking with friends in the Lafarge Meadows area at the east end of Fish Creek Park, on 11 February 2013. These magnificent, colourful birds get into grassland and usually quickly disappear completely from sight.
