Woodland encounter
When I went looking for the tiny Northern Saw-whet Owl at Carburn Park two days ago, I was walking along one of the trails through the trees when I suddenly found this handsome guy standing in the middle of the path way ahead of me. He just stood there, giving me the chance to get a few (fully zoomed) photos. It's unfortunate, really, that the Deer in this location are less fearful of humans than in other places I see them. A few minutes' walk later, and I came across another handsome male blocking a different trail - Phil, who was standing watching the tiny owl, lol!
