Stephen, this is YOUR fault!

Stephen, this is YOUR fault!
Stephen, your words beneath one of my flower photos were: "Wonderfully warm bright image Anne - looks like winter finished while I was away!" Yesterday, when I got those words, pretty well all our snow had melted, which was wonderful. Then, when I woke up this morning....
However, what a beautiful five and a half hours I spent this afternoon at the Calgary Zoo! My day started off at 9:15 a.m. with a birding walk at Inglwood Bird Sanctuary. It had snowed overnight and was snowing heavily for my long drive. Weather was awful, roads were awful, traffic was awful! Our walk was in a winter wonderland, but my photos don't even begin to do it justice! I went straight from the Bird Sanctuary to the nearby Zoo and this is how the afternoon looked. SO different from the morning! I think it has been many years since I took a snow photo with blue sky!
