In the bleak mid-winter

Everything looked the same colour this afternoon - the snow, the sky and even the birds merged in quite well. Even the tiniest patch of blue sky would have been SO welcome. Oh, when I was down here yesterday afternoon, I noticed three Coyotes crossing the narrow park roadway ahead of me. Somehow, it just didn't feel the same as when I see a solitary one. I felt a little apprehensive at the thought of a pack, especially as there were no other people in sight. However, they disappeared without a trace - well not exactly, as I got a good look at their tracks.
