Don't ask me why this fire hydrant fascinated me enough to take a photo this afternoon! I love that mustardy shade of yellow, so perhaps that is part of the reason. I've suddenly developed this desire to photograph isolated splashes of colour in an otherwise more-or-less black and white winter landscape.
