I know there are a few gentlemen here but for the purposes of 'Sight and Sound' my musical link will just relate to the 'Fair & Tender Ladies' :-)

"Fair and Tender Ladies" by Gene Clark and Carla Olson features on their 1987 album "So Rebellious A Lover". It is a traditional song arranged by Gene Clark.
One of my absolute faves from the album :-)

Never heard of this gentleman before but I wish I had. sorry he is no more. A very beautiful song. Reminds me of a cross between Tim Buckley and Johnny Rivers and something else - a wistfulness that is extremely attractive. Fine shots too.

Your phrase "a wistfulness that is extremely attractive" brilliantly sums up Gene Clark when he was at his very best, Andy. The tragedy is that he abused drugs and alcohol and left us at just 46 years old. Thanks very much for complimenting my photos.
