"For The Good Times"

It is very depressing to read the latest ipernity Blog where it says "it’s time for us to pass the relay or turn the page."

By the same token I was a little encouraged by the words "it remains quite possible that a new team will take the lead of ipernity".

However, if there are only about 3,000 ipernity members I don't see how it would be financially viable for someone else to take over even with an increase in the subscription amount.

The words to "For The Good Times" seem depressingly apt to me just at this minute.

Don't look so sad, I know it's over
But life goes on, and this old world will keep on turning
Let's just be glad we had some time to spend together

I hope there will be a last minute reprieve and I hope the sun is not finally setting on ipernity. Whilst there is still any glimmer of hope I think I will still post to 'Sight and Sound'.

Absolutely gorgeous image, Roger, and I do share your sentiments.

This was one of my dads favorite songs. I remember how he loved it when it was a hit back in 1970 by Ray Price. I didn't recognize the name Raul Malo, but I sure recognize that voice from when he was with The Mavericks. What a treat this was! I actually prefer his version, myself, and that was the cherry on top for Kris Kristofferson to be in the audience. Wow....
