"Desperado"

"Desperado"
I feel like I am in heaven 'cos I have come across a version of "Desperado" by Linda Ronstadt and The Eagles :-) "Desperado" was written by Don Henley and Glenn Frey. One of my absolute all-time fave songs.

A pretty desperate and tenuous link follows :-)

According to Thesaurus, 'Desperado' can mean 'Outlaw'. I think the guy in this shot, taken in Amsterdam way back in 2004, looks a bit like an 'Outlaw'. Job done methinks :-)

What is that interesting effect you used here? A great group of "Desperados."

I really enjoyed seeing Linda perform this with the Eagles. And I've never heard the Carpenters do this. They did a beautiful job with it. And Jill Johnson is new for me and very nice. Three excellent and very enjoyable performances of this classic. Nicely done, Roger. :)

Oh and since I know you can never get enough of Linda here is another one for you in case you hadn't seen it. I thought is was rather good too: Desperado

Hi Karen. I used the free GIMP Photo Software here. Once the software was installed I then downloaded extra filters. I think there were over 300 of them!! The filter used here was a 'Coloured Pencils' effect filter. If you want more info on the software and the filters just let me know. Thank you for the link. Linda's performance here sends shivers down my spine. Such a wonderful and perfect performance :-) Thank you, Karen. And, I appreciate the fave :-)

There are lots of good things in the software and I should really use it more than I do :-)
