Stowe Landscape Gardens

Stowe Landscape Gardens
~ Explored! ~ Thank you very much :-)))

View from the Eastern Lake Pavilion.

From the National Trust's Stowe Leaflet -
"The grand gardens of Stowe were created by Lord Cobham, a highly influential 18th century aristocrat and politician. At the height of their wealth and power, the Cobham family was richer than the King, and the gardens at Stowe were a bold statement to show this. The gardens quickly became one of the country's first tourist attractions"

Ich mag solche Gärten. Gerade in Hannover findet man mit dem "Georgengarten" und den "Herrenhäüser Gärten" ähnliche weitläufige Anlagen.
Sogar das Wetter spielt mit.
Viele Grüße, Uwe

The work of at least five great landscape designers and architects: Vanbrugh, Bridgeman, Kent, Gibbs, Brown.

And a fine photo of them. The touch of red got my eyes to move back and forth between the woman and the house, creating depth and dynamism.

Good clarity and colour, I always get a feeling of grandeur when visiting these places, then wonder where I went wrong in life. lol.
