Road access--sort of--to Emigrant Lake outside Ashland, Oregon. Even with the 4x4 I didn't try to take the car down to the shore!

Looking upstream from the bridge at Myrtle Creek, Oregon, just off Interstate-5. This picture fits the more usual stereotypes of Oregon views! The Umpqua rises in the Cascades, near Crater Lake, and flows more-or-less west to the Pacific.

At Keno, Oregon, just a few miles north of the California line. The Klamath rises on the slopes of Mt. Mazama, which holds Crater Lake, and flows more-or-less southwesterly into California. It meets the Pacific at Klamath, California, in the heart of the redwood country.
