Long Ago Springfield, Vt.

My husband's hometown in southern Vermont.
Guessing this is the 1930s, but too lazy to track down the actual card and check the markings.
"Southern" doesn't make it any warmer, by the way!
It's 8 degrees and falling here - supposed to be minus 15 tonight.
We've had weeks of this - urghhh.
Here's another interesting note though - Springfield, VT was voted THE Springfield of "The Simpsons", when they ran that nationwide Springfield contest years ago.
I believe they still have the pink donut award in the town square.
