Catherine Lundbech c1920
My father's mother. She lived and died in Cardiff, although she worked in Fishguard, Wales when my Dad was young.
Originally Catherine Smith, she married Arthur Stone and had two children, Doris and Leonard. Her husband died of Spanish Influenza and she later married Gudmund Andreas Lundbech in 1920. She had two more children - my father Raymond in 1921 and Joan in 1924. Her life was hard - more tragedy followed.
She died before I was born. My aunt says she had a beautiful singing voice.
My children's Great Grandmother.
