I was cycling from Leiden to Haarlem along the old towpath and then you encounter this (this is the old towpath).

I do, but normal cycling, I don't wear lycra ;-)

Mostly because I don't look good in lycra ;-)

I don't wear a helmet, but it probably wise if you travel at speed on a race bike.

Helmets are getting popular for young kids, but on the whole, no helmets are worn in the Netherlands.

I don't know, I haven't asked them. This is outside the town of Lisse and they are not parked on a through road, so there is not much bother. And the tourist spend a lot of money.
