De Oude Toren Ruïne – This grave must remain closed for ever

I always wonder why a grave must remain closed. And will the grave remain closed in the future as even graves of the faraos were opened.

First mention of a chapel on this spot dates from 1063. The church was torn down in 1573 to prevent the Spaniards from using it as a stronghold in the Siege of Leiden.
