I thought I knew West Wycombe a bit (clients living there, that sort of thing), but apparently not! A wonderfil winter scene!

The whole village was very nearly bulldozed by developers in the 1930's and replaced by ribbon development. But although now preserved and owned by the National Trust, it needs a bypass and today the main street is impossible to photograph, being cluttered up with parked cars 24/7. This 1972 picture:
was taken in 'the nick of time' when it was still possible to do so.

Even in winter it is a charming place.

Apart from the through traffic and parked cars, yes.

No. All my email Christmas "cards" have already been prepared. Only two of the 40+ are square ones.
