Shock Value (Siamese Crocodile) - 3 August 2020

Shock Value (Siamese Crocodile) - 3 August 2020
Were it not displayed thus at London Zoo, I would not have posted this in this way. As one passes a number of lizards, tortoises and frogs, one comes across a case labelled 'Siamese Crocodile'. It brings one up short.

The accompanying placard reads:

"This bag used to be found swimming in slow-moving rivers and streams across Southeast Asia and Indonesia.

Over the last 75 years more than 80% of Siamese crocodiles have disappeared. Many, like this one, were hunted for their skins as part of the illegal wildlife trade."

The message is simple. The crocodile needs its skin. You do not.

As with fur...it'd be nice to see some "reversals". Say a polar bear wearing a millionaire's moll or a croc in a authentic human skin waistcoat.
Good shock tactics, tho'
