See Things Differently (2) - 9 September 2018
I have written before about how I like to take a work of art and attempt to create another from it. The untitled work by Bruno Gironcoli which is on display at Donau City, Vienna is a difficult piece, the whole being all but incomprehensible (to me). However, the figures in the piece are, to my mind, reinforcing one of my most important principles in photography - to See Things Differently. Only one figure of the four has its eyes open and a posture which suggests a moment of revelation and contrasts with its companions who have their eyes closed and postures which suggest a lack of concern with their surroundings.

The ratio seems about right when applied to mankind. Perhaps a tad optimistic. :-)
Beautiful image.
