The Chapel (detail) - 26 March 2017
The Chapel Medi-Spa, 80a West Street, Havant, Hants
Sometimes, one comes across an example of architecture which makes ones heart soar. Such was the case when, recently, I came across a beautiful converted chapel of which I had not previously been aware. Now occupied by a hair and beauty salon, the scars of alterations and unsympathetic modern signage do not detract too much from the original, simple beauty. This shot was carefully planned for a Sunday morning as the opening of the shutters during business hours diminishes the visual appeal of this lovely building.
