This transmission line between the Nech and North Industrial Substations is scheduled to be converted to 138kV in the coming years. The city is fed by a 69kV loop that will be completely upgraded to 138kV in the near future.

This substation located north of the city steps 69kV down to 13.8kV for distribution service to the industries north of the city. This is one of multiple substations being converted to 138kV as the recently completed Unit 16 generating plant nearby is now online.
