An interesting set of graffiti images, William. I must say though that, while I enjoy good street art, I have less enthusiasm for random graffiti.

William i cant say i like graffiti ,regardless what it is ..there are better legal places for messages of hope ..your pics are good though

Aus Blue, I'm not sure I would agree with spray painting windows. However, at the same time some kind of balance needs to be found and to date, I don't know of any municipality that has sought to make such a move. Unfortunately and until then, I suppose artists will utilize whatever blank "canvas" they find.

Actually, I stand corrected. In Bogotá (Colombia) after the police shooting of a graffiti artist, the mayor under pressure from the public, decriminalized graffiti. With the exception of monuments and public buildings, graffiti is now permitted in most places.

A wonderful documentation and compilation of a part of the diversity of fascinating human expressions!

I feel bad for the shopkeeper who has to clean this up.

I agree Esther. They could've found some place else in this case since there were available walls for instance in some nearby parking lots that could've been utilized instead.
