Haha, wenn man fest dran glaubt....Der Spruch erinnert mich irgendwie an "Lepra, Cholera, von dr Alb ra...."- nur dass es da kein Gegenmittel gibt;-)

Der glaube versetzt berge!! Sonst würden placebos gar nicht wirken ;-)
Das sind ja echt schwäbische albträume. Aber sowohl gegen die als auch gegen schwaben müsste bier eigentlich auch helfen ;-)))

It was a wonderful hiking tour across the boglands. We were fortunate to come across this pleasant beer garden halfway on our tour with chilled beer and tarte flambée for refueling. It was a delicious break and it sure supplied us with new energy to continue... ;-))

Well, luckily the hottest temperatures I encountered across my trip in Northern Germany were 29 °C during the last few days. Before they were around 25 °C. Not bad at all. The tropical heat with 33 °C and high humidity almost killed me when I got off the train in Karlsruhe!! I was definitely coveting CHILLED BEER :-)))

The difference with here is that the air is very dry, so high temperatures are more easy to bear. Over 40ºC forecasted for the weekend, it will be great for hot tea, the only really thing that works... but fresh beer is a pleasure too.

Barre Bräu kommt aus Lübbecke, Kreis Minden-Lübbecke, also aus meiner Nachbarschaft. Prost!

It looks temptingly cool. Maggs is right - you must stay hydrated, especially if you are walking. The cold beer is much more refreshing than the water that you were probably carrying and which was by this time warm. Just in case you feel any guilt I will take one for the team and join you;-))

Ich kannte es auch nicht. Nie gesehen in Süddeutschland. Aber ich glaube, bier ganz allgemein dient als heilmittel, egal welches. Es muss nicht unbedingt Barre sein ;-))
