Ah, das war 2017! Heisst, nach 9/11. Hätte mir vorstellen können, dass Besuche im Maschinenraum aus sicherheitstechnischen Gründen nicht mehr möglich sind.

Ja, kein Zutritt zum eigentlichen Maschinenraum, nur oben auf der Balustrade.

Das Bild entstand am 06.10.2017. Vielleicht erinnerst Du Dich, dass am 01.10.2017 in Las Vegas ein Attentäter aus dem Mandala Bay Hotel in ein Open Air Konzert geschossen hat und dabei über 50 Menschen getötet hat. Genau an dem Tag sind wir in Las Vegas angekommen. Wir mussten bei einer Zwischenlandung in Detroit stundenlang warten - es war unklar, ob unser Flieger überhaupt in Vegas landen durfte, da man noch nicht wusste, welchen Hintergrund dieser feige Anschlag hatte.

Ob die Fahne deshalb aufgehängt wurde oder ob die dort immer (nach 9/11??) hängt, weiß ich allerdings nicht.
