I had already gone to bed when my son told me to come and have a look outside! Photos captured on my mobile and enhanced in lightroom to bring out some clarity of the Aurora. Due to the light pollution the images do not reflect what we could actually see but there was certainly a faint clue in the sky.

Impressive capture even with your mobile phone. Regrettably I wasn't aware of the polar lights. But it is interesting to see the photos of other persons.
