Tower view.

Tower view.
Visited a friend recently and on the way home detoured past our old house. This tower was not here the last time we came up this road. Now this tower sits alongside the original one. Lines lead down to a huge switching yard.

This link should take you to another photo of other towers

Thank you Percy. Sunridge road has some great views, but the dirt road is a drawback for living on it.
Hope you have an enjoyable week

Wonderful composition, Peter. I love the "fan" of power lines leading the eye down to the valley!
It's always a bit of a mixed feelings adventure revisiting a place we once called home, isn't it?
HFF and a nice weekend to you.

Most of the memories are good. Probably miss the changing view the most. Early morning mist over the valley, action of the tower maintenance, sunsets etc.
Hope your week is enjoyable

Thanks Steve, every thing has grown so much, some of the views have been obscured.

Hi Fred, yes there is quite a bit left, it is still classed as a rural zone and cannot be developed for housing. Thanks for your visit. Regards Peter
