The Perito Moreno Glacier( 250 km² ice formation, 30 km in length), is one of 48 glaciers fed by the Southern Patagonian Ice Field in the Andes system shared with Chile. This icefield is the world's third largest reserve of fresh water.
It is one of the only three Patagonian glaciers that are not retreating.
Just one year ago like today I was there...

Proprio così, caro amico mio...desiderio di rivivere momenti passati. Ultimamente pubblico nuovi scatti, ma in questi giorni continuavo a pensare alla Patagonia , a riguardare tante immagini non postate...e così alla fine ho deciso per una immagine simbolo del viaggio che tanto ho voluto e tanto mi ha insegnato. Il Perito Moreno sembra resistere, diversamente dagli altri ghiacciai ...quindi mi sembra anche un bell'esempio, oltre che soprattutto una buona notizia! :-)
