Lots of "upside down boats" on the foreshore on Holy Island. They appear to be used as huts for storage etc.

The lonely beach

Not many people on the beach at this time (around 10.30pm) and I felt a little bit nervous! However the sky was beautiful and it was worth the wait.

Hotel garden at night

a lovely place late at night listening to the waves breaking on the shore. Not as many stars as I had hoped but lovely anyway. The light in the distance is the lighthouse on Inner Farne Island

A pile of rope in the harbour. Just trying out a bit of black and white but it's not every subject that it suits but I thought this scene suited monochrome.
