Have always found though that a messed up walking route eventually leads to one discovering a even better one, good luck.
Nick Weall club has replied to natureoncam aka Greg clubI have my shortened walk route well established now, but it was lovely to have a figure of eight walk that would take me down to the canal and back again, taking about three hours. The new route is around 100 minutes

Nick Weall club has replied to SteThis is a massive site that is difficult to get near now ~ so I'll leave it well alone.
All the very best to you Steve ~~~
Glorious poppies and what looks like nipplewort against that summer sky. Enjoy your weekend dear Nick. I hope the rain stops for us all today. Yesterday it was continuous and we didn't manage to get out at all.
I wish you a nice weekend
A very nice picture, and interesting story.
Of course I knew about this for some time, for reasons which you may well know.
The site is also well guarded to keep Greta and her mates out...
My view is that we need rail transport to get all that fossil fuel burning traffic off our roads. Plants and trees will grow back, but once burnt fossil fuel is gone for ever!
Best Wishes, a nice weekend, and stay safe!!
