A Single Rosebud.

A Single Rosebud.
This is the only rose I have in a container. It has many flowers, but I watched this single bud grow. The colour is a vibrant orange that turns to a mellow yellow as it grows, and eventually is almost pink in colour with pale yellow edges.

Such a pretty rose and the colour transformations from bud to fully grown are amazing. Four lovely images captured in gorgeous light. I especially like the bokeh in the small image top left!

I didn't actually expect this rose to survive Keith, as I kind of rescued it as a discarded 'twig', but to my amazement it has grown into this beautiful flower. Thank you for your kind comments.
