Thanks Rosa, I hate to say it but Sheffield Park in my opinion is far better for autumn colours than Stourhead, but Stourhead has a better layout and features. It is a long way for you to travel. Should you go aim to arrive dead early, even an hour before it opens, because the queues for parking get horrendous. The best time to go varies from year to year, but now ought to be right.
