A couple of days earlier I had seen it from a bedroom window at home, but too much light pollution (even out in the little village) for a decent photo.. So I am pleased I cam here.

I am pleased you found it interesting.
I put a lot if effort into planning this visit, especially to find a dark sky looking northwards.
I am sure the Harz would have done equally well, if no clouds!
