So special... and of course Eardington inspired a painting... Yet this morning winter is here. Cold and still.. Unfortunately no warm hotel bed to return to. :-(

I did spend a very long time in the early hours of that morning walking round the station and yards. Lack of other visitors was a great help! It is always the luck of the draw as to how the wind blows the smoke. In this case it was a very still night...

Your visit and awards are really appreciated! This dates back to 2012, and as I remember I had been busy most of the night around the sheds at both ends of the line. This year they have Duchess of Sutherland again, plus a Black 5. I have not given any thought to going as yet.

J'ai passé beaucoup de temps dans les premières heures de la matinée à faire le tour de la gare et des cours. Je peux poster plus de photos plus tard.
