Covered bridge, Lucerne

My dear Peter,

The famous wooden bridge looks wonderful under the the clouds !
I remember, there must be an old English pub the left side of the river...
I like the dramatic scene very much!!

My Dear Füsun, thank you so much for visiting, and of course the awards. You are right, the pub is on the left of the picture. It is called "Mr Pickwick", and the English flag is flying outside. As for the sky, I think there was a bit of sun in between rain showers!

Thank You Nick, yes, the number one tourist attraction in Lucerne! I just looked back at the other pictures from the day, and this is the only one where the sun shines! Beyond that, a thunder storm!
