Hey dear Steve, yes, he sat rather still as we pulled over a bit, long enough for me to get my hands on my camera, just at my feet in the car.... well, we see these ugly things Steve, when something has been hit by a car, or they smell something that has died , we will see them fly over periodically, this is a common sight when there might be " a meal " for them...yuk!

Hey dear Steve, thank you too... these are ugly birds for sure, but he was perched and seemed to be in no hurry to fly off, so I got the shot.... These vultures ARE around Steve, where there is dead animal etc ,,,,We don't see one here at our place, unless someone hits something on the street / highway out front.... best wishes, Sarah
