Thanks dear Steve. yes I think my grands WILL enjoy looking back and seeing the cakes I did for them on each birthday! I have an album for each of them of ALL their cakes and I hope they will treasure the photos. YES increasing age is absolutely right, wow how they have grown up. in a blink and they are grown.

When I left school at the age of 15 my first job was an apprenticeship at the Café Royal in London, my biggest regret was giving it up after just two weeks. If ever I could make a cake as wonderful as this I would be a happy man.

AH! Maurice....why did you give it up!! you would truly enjoy this kind of thing had you stuck with it, Im sure you had your good reasons.
