Christmas at our house! (cake will be served soon) :) MERRY CHRISTMAS !

Hello dear Steve, thank you so much, I so love to dress up our table for the seasons:) tomorrow (New Year's Day) this table will have a different look...(now posted)... where all the family will gather for a late evening NEW YEAR'S DAY full meal...with all the traditional dishes for this New Year day... WE HAVE TO HAVE black-eye peas, some leafy greens of some sort, these two items have traditional significance " the Black eye peas are for Good Luck in the coming year, and the "greens" represent the hope for prosperity (money/cash etc) that is needed to sustain us for the new year.... I hope I have that in the right order! :)) if Mom were still with us, she would keep me straight for sure :))) and along with those, several more wonderful side dishes..including a baked Pork Ham, Pork Chops /Rice/Gravy and on and on. OH and yes yes, several dessert items>>..yummmy! HAPPY NEW YEAR STEVE!! Hugs...~~Sarah~~
