The Cobbler(Ben Arthur) from Ardgartan

ALAN! when I checked the YS button I ALSO HAD WRITTEN a COMMENT,?? what happened? oh well technology!:( I wrote how I loved this shot, the shadows, the trees, some puddles of water ( and a lake I think I see) then the snowed capped Ben Arthur! you did a good composition of this view. the lovely blue sky finishes off your photo, and I also asked or mentioned why several of your mountains over there have "Ben" in its title. ya know I have a painting of the Ben Nevis that hangs here above our PC , that Steve sent to us. so would be interesting to hear why "Ben" appears in names of mountains there. Steve may have given that info to us but not sure. this gets a YS Alan, love that Mountain, hope you and Sue are well.. kindest wishes, Sarah

Hi Sarah basicley it means a Mountain Peak gaelic spelling Beinn.Glad you liked these shots weather was a little better so I could get out in the grounds of the Hotel thanks for the YS best wishes Alan.
