The old Southwest Peninsula Coast path went this way but it was a touch too strenuous and steep so it was re-routed up above on the flat and, frankly, boring path. I enjoy following the original path here.

Camp Cameron

Camp Cameron was the US Forces army base for black service personnel in the UK in WWII. They were placed here, in Out-Of-The-Way Cornwall so as not to frighten the poor timid natives. Joe Louis was based here and wrote that he was bored out of his mind! Now, no trace remains of the camp which was situated above St Agnes Head.
