On the footpath from St Day to Carharrack, known as School Hill as it is used by the Carharrack children who have to attend the school in St Day and have a fairly stiff upward walk to do so! Good exercise I suppose.

Portreath inner harbour.

An extra mini fence as a bonus! It's a funny little fence (I wonder what it's for)! But I liked it as well as the stone work on view, the trees and that cloud. The angles are a bit skew-wiff (how does one spell that?) but that's how it was.

Portreath outer harbour on a benign day (just for a change!) And, yes, the Monkey Hut survived another storm (please see previous photos from about 6 weeks ago.) but a lot of repair work still needs doing!

A walk between medical appointments and I suddenly realised it was Thursday and time to think about finding an HFF shot! This walkway is sited on an old tramway, the tracks still appear here and there.

I have to walk past this roundabout every time I go into Algete or to the bus stop and I do not know what got into them. If they'd given the re-design to a class of infants they would have done a far better job! A day of threatenning storms as has been the case for a week now but still no rain! I'm going to have to post another just to take the taste away, if you see what I mean!

The battlements and a lamp at Buitrago del Lozoya. When I last visited in 2015, there was no access to the castle or battlements (which extend all around what was a large town for the period - late middle ages) due to serious works. I was surprised to see that they only seemed to be about half way there but at least some sections of the battlements are now open. More to follow.
