Vendue et en partie démolie à la Révolution, progressivement reconstruite, l'abbaye fût rachetée par le diocèse d'Amiens qui y établit un petit séminaire. Elle servit aussi d’hôpital militaire pendant la Grande Guerre.
Depuis 2012, elle abrite un centre culturel de rencontre dédié aux écritures.
