Contemporary History Document

This is a contemporary historical document, because there has never been such a 1st April in the History of Skiing in Tyrol , and hopefully there never will be again.

Normally, during the Easter holidays, in good weather, it is impossible to ski this route in less than 3 hours. You have to wait a long time in front of the lifts before you can finally get in, and you have to slow down on the slopes because lots of inexperienced holidaymakers want to have fun there. This is understandable, but also a hindrance.

Six weeks ago, 46 kilometres of piste and 22 lift rides could be done in only 262 minutes in the "SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser". However, the fact that there is nowhere to stop for a break also contributed to this. In this respect, it was also the most cost-effective ski season ever.

Dies ist ein zeithistorisches Dokument, weil es so einen 1. April in der Geschichte des Skifahrens in Tirol noch nie gegeben hat - und hoffentlich auch nie wieder geben wird.

Normalerweise ist es während der Osterferien bei schönem Wetter nämlich unmöglich, diese Strecke in weniger als 3 Stunden abzufahren. Denn vor den Liften muss man lange warten, bis man endlich einsteigen kann, und auf den Pisten muss man das Tempo drosseln, weil dort Unmengen ungeübter Urlauber/innen ihren Spaß haben wollen. Das ist verständlich, aber auch hinderlich.

Vor 6 Wochen waren in der "SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser" sogar 46 Pistenkilometer und 22 Liftfahrten in nur 262 Minuten machbar. Dazu beigetragen hat allerdings auch, dass man nirgendwo einen Einkehrschwung machen kann. Insofern war es auch die kostengünstigste Skisaison, die es je gegeben hat.
