Alte Burg Penzlin
Die erste urkundliche Erwähnung fand um 1220 statt. Nach mehreren Besitzerwechseln kaufte die Stadt Penzlin 1941 die Burg. Sie wurde ab 1990 umfassend saniert.
Interessantester Bereich ist der im Gebäude befindliche Hexenkeller - ein Folterkeller der frühen Neuzeit.
Penzlin ist eine Kleinstadt im Landkreis Mecklenburgische Seenplatte.
