No, Pence is not better, just bad in a different way. I don't think any of us are in favor of even the orange ogre being shot. Nothing good comes of it, we know from experience. Anyway, it is our duty to vote him out of office in 2020 - not just complain about him. He does more damage every day, though...

Yes. The most important thing is to find a selectable and good competitor! He must be widely accepted by many sections of the population. It's gonna be hard. The democrats must think together and tie back the claims to power of individual unsuitable protagonists. A difficult task, but it's possible.

Democrats have a reputation for not being a cohesive group and not presenting strong policies while campaigning. This time there is more clarity, in my opinion. Yes, it will be a rough campaign. About four Dem candidates are consistently higher in the polls than the rest: Biden, Warren, Harris and Sanders.

Nothing against Biden, but wouldn't one have to bring someone new who has an "empty backpack"? With Biden the opinions are already made. And isn't Sanders not too old? Can he mobilize the young people? As far as I know, there is a great potential with the young people, since they have stayed away from the elections so far.

Yes! Ugh, a similar situation. I think we're just have to get through this bad time in history, like so many other bad times before. It's a shame that we have such chaos and distraction at the same time that we need to concentrate our energy on climate change - the biggest danger to us all! I don't think anything will get done, really, and scientists say we have about 11 years to correct our course before it becomes too late.
