Las calles arboladas son una delicia. Esta zona residencial de Getxo tiene muchas casas de estilo inglés. Aquí lo inglés en arquitectura, interiores, moda, etc tuvo mucha influencia por las estrechas relaciones de Bizkaia, y su burguesía, con Inglaterra por el mineral de hierro que les exportábamos y el carbón que importábamos de allí. Fueron décadas de estrechas relaciones que han dejado su impronta en el paisaje y la cultura.

Gracias Roger. En el municipio de Getxo, principalmente en Neguri, se encuentras casa y palacetes encantadores. Ahora empiezan a llegar muchos cruceros turísticos lo que no me hace muy feliz. Hasta hace poco el País Vasco no era un destino turístico, pero desde el fenómeno Guggenheim todo ha cambiado.
