No no, this shot was taken from the top of the Las Arenas shopping center, the one in the old bull fighting arena. The hotel where Gerard stayed is to the right. In this photo taken from below you can see the hotel to the left and the center to the right. www.ipernity.com/doc/1136587/36289946

Yes, Google people stayed in the hotel to the right while ordinary mortals stayed at Fira palace. I should see Barcelona again too.
