Queensferry, Eisenbahnbrücke
South Queensferry wurde erstmals erwähnt als der Ort, an dem Margareta von Schottland, die zweite Frau von König Malcolm III., oftmals den Firth of Forth auf dem Weg nach Dunfermline überquerte. Von dieser historischen Begebenheit leitet sich der heutige Stadtname ab.
