Loch Muick vista

Loch Muick vista
As we walk over the brow of the 'Spittal of Loch Muick' we are greeted by this scene. We were to walk on to the waters edge and then to the right bank before returning here some time later. Notice the 'wild campers' in the blue tent by the river.

It was a great place to visit. Very happy that you liked this one. The much better choice would be to have climbed the nearby Munros too which also include the wonderful Lochnagar but even though I might have made it, my wife who always accompanies me on these outings, is not as eager for such strenuous hikes. -I should try to get up there one day Toz.

Still a hefty walk Amelia but I am sure you could do it OK. It looked like a wonderful walk, especially with Glas-allt-Shiel to look forward to at the far end. Sadly not for us this time and not very likely to get back here again anytime soon either.
